19-18-2. (Rule 1002) Original required to prove contents unless otherwise provided
To prove the content of a writing, recording, or photograph, the original writing, recording, or photograph is required, except as otherwise provided in chapters 19-9 to 19-18, inclusive, or by rules adopted by the Supreme Court of this state or by statute.
